Katherine's Song

Once I finished reading Katherine's Song, all I could say was, "Wow!" There are so many positives about the novel that it is difficult to know where to begin....  Katherine's Song is a realistic novel about families
in crises...a very well integrated and focused story...
The careful attention to details...puts the reader
firmly into ...scenes..., an engaging novel using advanced craft and techniques.

Linda Lane’s debut novel, Katherine’s Song...takes place in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and centers around the journey of Katherine Kohler, who has just lost her beloved husband of many years.... The well-written text, at times eloquent, at times sweetly simple, will hold the reader until the end.

Entertaining reading and an admirable first novel.... Lane is a storyteller to watch.

Katherine's Song is a compelling and exciting story. The characters are realistic, their troubles consistent with the trauma plaguing the 'normal' family today.
You agonize and rejoice with Katherine, fear and liberate with Yoshi, and come to know the greed and hatred that drive their nemesis, Oren. The original
and vivid scenes of this story of trial and triumph
etch themselves into your memory.

Purchase Book(s) Katherine's Song

Katherine's Song, one of the best books I've ever read, was full of real-life situations that drew me into the characters and the story. It touched my heart with its sadness of loss, its humor, its mystery, its romance, and its ultimate happiness...  There is loss and there is gain. There is hatred and there is love. There are battles and there is peace. This book has it all. I loved being able to read a story that was not full of violence, filthy language and graphic
sexual situations. I strongly recommend that anyone who loves a GOOD book read Katherine's Song.

A gift from my wife, but I
wasn't sure...It certainly got
my attention soon into the reading. Couldn't put it down,
but I had to take time out to
eat and sleep...darn it! Managed to read it in less then 3 days.
I am a 79 year-old, old fashion guy, and I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys good suspense and appreciates excellency in writing techniques. A read again novel.
